I know they’ve jumbled many women to believe that men love chasing, and that’s how to tell a man who’s genuinely interested, but that’s a bogus claim. The chase game is all about hunting; his prestige comes from the hunting process, and has no value for the hunted.
A lot of stories of men chasing women passionately end up with the man becoming very nonchalant and even abusive after they’ve gotten her. In fact, while he’s chasing her and she’s giving him tough time, he’s resolute in his mind to show her pepper when she finally gives in.
This is what happens most times. I’ve spoken to women and men. I’ve met men who chased a woman for years just for sex. That’s all. I’ve also met women who played the tough girl game so they could be highly valued by men. It failed most of them.
A lot of idea we have about relationships are soaked in mind games. A man that will value you will value you no matter how easy you make things for him, and a man that will abuse you will abuse you no matter how long he chased you. It’s in the intention not the chase.
The devil doesn’t mind waiting for so long as long he’s sure that in the end, his dubious wish will come to fruition. You’re deceiving yourself to ever think that a man’s love for you can be measured by how long he chased you.
Again, women who play the hard to get game get deeply hurt when the man deals with them. Why? Their ego is broken that the man still didn’t value them after all the toughness. The woman gets power from being chased, the man regains the power after the chase. It’s all games!
This idea of chasing is also why men cheat. Men are groomed to love the thrill of chasing a woman, but when he gets married, he feels emasculated, to prove it to himself, he goes chasing a strange woman. It’s about the thrill!
That’s why these men who cheat could have the most beautiful wives, their wives could be giving them the best sex, yet man would cheat with a less attractive woman. The construct of masculinity and femininity in relationships is disturbing.
I do not chase women. I repeatedly say this. I believe in initiating — that means that I let you know how I feel about you, and it’s your option to either want me or not. I will never go after a woman who has shown disinterest in me.
If you think a man will value you because you gave him tough time before accepting. So what keeps the value when you’ve accepted? Your value is not a matter of momentary thrill. Your worth is in you. Stay woke.
In a healthy relationship, it’s not about who made the move, how long it took and whatnot. These things don’t matter. It’s about two people who are vulnerable and totally open without mind games. Some of you are in relationship where you play mind games. It’s a ticking bomb.
Stop enjoying the chase, you’re not a rabbit. Most men who chase relentlessly will deal with you badly when the chase is over. The best way to know a man is to watch his CONSISTENT character: words, actions, values, not how long he chased you
