Since last week's Karabakh deal, there have been two central messages from the political talk shows on Russian state TV

1) Russia selflessly saved the ethnic Armenians of Karabakh

2) Nikol Pashinyan had this coming ever since his revolution

A brief THREAD of quotes on No 2:
60 Minutes host Olga Skabeyeva "There is an inevitable loss of territory following every Orange Revolution. We saw it in Georgia, we saw it in Ukraine, now we see it in Armenia, because no matter how we assume that they were saved - and they really were - they lost a lot" 1/
Defence expert Igor Korotchenko on the same show: "Why did Pashinyan capitulate? Well, first of all, let's not forget who Pashinyan is. He is the Armenian Navalny, a man who gained power through a coup..." 2/
"...A colour revolution never brings benefits anywhere, in any country. Pashinyan, instead of strengthening the state, instead of strengthening the armed forces, began to purge primarily the pro-Russian top generals and officers in Armenia's national security service" 3/
Vremya Pokazhet host Anatoly Kuzichev: "Any colour revolution leads to military defeat" 4/
And finally, some more from Korotchenko: Pashinyan's "games with the West" and his "multi-vector" foreign policy have led Armenia to a "national catastrophe"

5/ END
