Sitting here pondering a little history.

During the revolution ~25% of the nation supported the UK here in the colonies.

So, is it REALLY surprising that 73 mil Americans support Trump?

It has always been part of our national culture.

73mil÷331mil=~22%
So, we have always had that portion of this nation that have wanted an authoritarian leader.

We are a young nation still, ~22% are still stuck where they were.

Then we have the civil war.
~29% of US population was in the confederation against the Union.

I think we are seeing a pattern, eh?

We have always had this as part of our nation.

3/5
In 1939, ~27% were against giving food, weapons and supplies to the UK, France and Poland.

Again, we have that number.

That number keeps popping up when it is about Authoritarians being supported by a portion of the nation.

So, we have seen that between 20-30% of the nation has ALWAYS supported authoritarianism.

So...why are we letting that same 20-30% decide for the majority on things like American policy or Presidents?

They have NEVER been on the right side of history.

Ever.
