This year I had decided NOT to start a fight on Twitter. But @RemaNagarajan you asked for it.
A few years back I received several emails and phone calls from a lady who represented @timesofindia
They run a Times Health Supplement

This supplement is nothing but a bunch of PAID articles on Health. I dug up the email from here..here is the screenshot for the same. It is self-explanatory
They were also kind enough to send samples for previous editions of the 'Supplement'. Here is one promoting 'Detox' which his nothing more than yet another form of quackery
It is interesting that such a "paid" proposal is given the title of "Investment". Interesting.
This is all I have to say on the ethics of a toilet paper called @timesofindia . I will allow the Twitterati to be a judge for themselves.

PS : The next time you see a "Health article" on TImes of India or some Ranking for Hospitals etc, it is likely that it is PAID.
That's all I have to say on this. Thank you.

Dear #MedTwitter . If you have received any such emails or phone calls from these newspapers demanding (read 'Hafta') for publishing 'articles' to promote yourself or your hospital, please do share with @RemaNagarajan . She might not be aware of this. I pardon her ignorance.
