Omg its so obvious to see Melanie is inspired by her and is a big fan she even said so herself but I seen so many Crybabies denying it
Omg bye I love her, her and Melanie have so much in common so now a collab doesn't seem weird
And tbh her and Melanie aren't so different with making up characters that have deeper meanings and give commentary about society and their experiences with lifs so the fact Melanie gets shtted on and not Marina is also interesting to me
Obviously Marina is better at explaining herself than Melanie so that plays a big part and her character(s) (Electra Heart era) aren't child like theme and stuff so obviously people take Marina more seriously (Electra heart didn't start off as a baby and wasn't show growing up)a
Also the fanbases play a big role (at least in my opinion) because on the Marina wiki her characters and their meanings and metaphors are explained so well with lots of details it's hard to misinterpret but since Melanie fan base is I geuss younger her wiki doesn't
Really give a good in depth analysis of Crybaby and her back story and metaphors, All my oomfs I'm sorry for this I'm just thinking out loud this isn't an important thread
