Have people taken time to look at where outbreaks exist in Alberta? They're all listed on the government's website. The vast majority are occurring at businesses deemed essential services - hospitals, LTC, food processing and logistics, and petrochemical/utilities plants.
None of these placed would close during any kind of lockdown. They weren't closed back in March and April. They won't close now.
I'm just not sure that's being taken into consideration by those advocating for a circuit breaker, which given the available data, might not have the impact you'd expect.
A week into BC's "circuit breaker" and the province is still seeing record case numbers, with most of those coming from the Fraser health region, where the restrictions were implemented.
Anyway, that's my only COVID comment today.

I must now continue doing my part in this pandemic by drinking wine on my couch. Peace out.
