Finished Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair. It's an OK game that I would not recommend.

Excellent thread describing many of the issues I had with the game. Up until the Impossible Lair (level), I'd have said to give this a try cause you might find stuff you like (some platforming segments, a few tunes), but that last level threw away all the positives. https://twitter.com/ExoParadigmGmr/status/1190505117780328455

Ultimately, the level design was mixed between OK & boring/forgettable, and only 3 tunes stood out for me, a shame. Also, SO MUCH slow talk between characters. Who wants that kind of padding on a platformer?

I would have preferred to replay DKC Returns or Tropical Freeze, tbh.
