wonderful that the people currently working in the leader's office went in there with so much empathy for the vastly greater amount of shit their predecessors had to put up with on a daily basis!
imagine how fucking piss easy Matt Pound's job is compared to what someone like James Schneider had to go through day in, day out. it's not even in the same realm of professional challenge.
talk about playing politics on easy mode. you can spend five years sat on your arse, belittling the people doing the actual graft, then get handed their job in easier-by-every-metric circumstances. the story of Labour in 2020 is the most disgusting disloyalty endlessly rewarded.
can't get over the injustice of this, it's like Streeting getting a shadow ministerial role. some of us actually wanted to win the last two elections!
