The fkn idiotic takes on Mountbatten from Southern Twitter makes me want to brick up the border myself.
Don’t ask your councillor to do anything for you if you watch the crown and vote for SF. Then we have: “the two wee boys killed in the boat too probably being molested by Mountbatten and he was a paedophile so... I dunno somehow that means the murder of two boys is ok/less bad”
You would think youse would have even half an ounce of sense about the cause, complexity and reality of what happened an hour up the road - I’ve read more nuanced views on the Troubles by young BLM activists in London than the absolute ear wax that’s spouted in the south.
If half of you spent the same amount of the time listening and leaning into reading the perspectives of the people living here as you do watching a TV show about the British Monarchy, there wouldn’t be so many peoples sufferening erased and ignored or as many BS hot takes
