LA did and still does have that need to address. But now more so than before, bc Green isn’t there to be okay at it if forced into the role.

It didn't matter this playoffs because LA didn't play LAC, BOS, or other teams where that vulnerability could be exploited. Butler was the 1 guy all playoffs LA faced that could exploit it (and he did).
If we had faced those teams, I bet LA still wins. But I bet our feeling about needing to address the role is more urgent than it was pre-Schroder trade.
Don't ignore the issue because it wasn't exploited (yet).

LA can grab a Wing Stopper bench guy to use situationally as LA did w/Kieff & Howard these past playoffs. It's regular season value isn't too high, and LA may face teams where it's not needed. But it's good to have.

Sure, AD or LeBron can do it. And they won't need to for 82 games. But in a 7-game series, I'd want the flexibility to keep Bron (Helper) & AD (weak side monster) in their ideal role fits to have the optimal impact. Not move them into a new role because I have to.
This is yet another reminder that position doesn't = defensive role.
