I have spoken to election officials of both parties, all over the country, who are enduring death threats and harassment from supporters of Trump. They and their families live in fear and are at risk, all because they’ve done their duty to democracy. /1
These heroes have gone without sleep, risking their health during a pandemic, all to successfully facilitate democracy and record turnout during a pandemic. And yet Trump not only doesn’t condemn the attacks, he actively incites them. /2
After losing an election, and losing in every court, Trump now works to inflame his supporters to threaten the lives of public servants and their families. This must stop, and members of both parties must condemn these actions. /END
