This is one of those process things where the answer is “find a doctor” and it’s already hilariously impossible even though I’m paying cash
Now keep in mind I’ve got an active lawsuit and I will need a certified professional with case notes and such for this court case
I dialed my first number and was summarily told if I don’t have a GP with a referral it’s no dice
I said I’ve surgeons and was kindly told it counts

Five numbers later: lol fuck you and your money
Okay so far I’ve dialed 23 numbers and have gotten:
5 “we’ll need your medical history” which. I’m uninsured; my medical history mostly consists of ER visits and emergency surgeries and lately retinal surgeons
10 answering services

So I called my surgeon’s office to see could they refer me for psychiatric treatment
I left a voicemail, we are on tenterhooks over here
Seems like I might have to find a GP whose sole role will be making a referral?

I have now had 34 helpful people refer me to services that won’t work for me
I need to find someone who’s a certified professional who’s licensed in Tennessee and will take cash patients without a GP referral
