JUST IN: The plaintiffs who sued to force the US Postal Service to dramatically increase processing of mail-in ballots are askoing Judge SULLIVAN to keep proceedings going, in part because of Trump's continued threat to election integrity.
Just because Trump is gone, they say, doesn't mean DeJOY is. And they say court action is necessary to ensure mail-in ballots in future elections are protected.

They also want DeJoy questioned in court and USPS held in contempt for violating orders on late trips.
In reply, USPS argues that its obligations are complete now that the plaintiffs in the lawsuit have successfully voted, making their claims moot

In addition, they say DeJoy should not be compelled to testify because these are not the "extroardinary circumstances" that warrant it
