Changes to MeSH terminology for 2021 are posted!!!
https://www.nlm.nih.gov/mesh/whatsnew.html

I went looking for something else, saw this page had been updated on 02 Nov (!!). Time to drop everything and look at what's there. You know what that means... #medlibs thread incoming!
Yes, I know it's super nerdy to go all fangirl about this. Don't care... if you've followed me for any length of time, you know this is my crack. So let's dive in and see what's up. In case you want to follow along, I'm looking at New Headings first.

First up, the elephant in the room: COVID-19. It's now a full MeSH term (lots of #medlibs have been talking about it being needed). There's A LOT to unpack here, so I'll probably come back to this and make COVID indexing terms it's own thread.
Lots of new terms surrounding COVID, including some indirect ones, like Anosmia[mh]. Also MeSH terms: COVID-19 Vaccines; COVID-19 Testing; COVID-19 Nucleic Acid Testing; COVID-19 Serological Testing; lots for Coronavirus proteins.
Some other MeSH added (I'm guessing) because of COVID-19:

N95 Respirators
Pangolins
Pseudoscience
Reinfection (this was sorely needed!)
Return to School (maybe?)
Supermarkets (under Food Supply)
Teleworking
Viral Zoonoses
But there's a lot more than just COVID-19 newness, so let's get to some of that. COVID can be another thread. Scrolling alphabetically, here are some new MeSH that jump out at me.
> Betrayal (huh...)
> Bicusplid Aortic Valve Disease
> Blood-Borne Infections (this is one of those, "wait, there wasn't a term for this already?" MeSH)
> Chain of Infection (because of covid?🤔)
> Correctional Facilities (because of covid?🤔)
> Deportation (oof)
> Digital Technology (hi MeSH, welcome to 2021)
> Disease Hotspot (very pandemic-y)
> Drug Elimination Routes
> Drug Tapering
> Emotional Abuse (under Social Problems... really?)
> Financial Stress
> Food Deserts
> Food Insecurity
> Food Security

These are under Food Supply. Food Security v Insecurity is going to be messy for searching, because you just know indexers (especially if relying on AI/machine learning) are going to mix those.
> Functional Status
> Gender Equity (!!!)
> Gender Role
> Glycemic Control (under Therapeutics)
> Heart Disease Risk Factors
> Hemorrhagic Stroke
> High Reliability Organizations
> HIV Testing (another "how is this new?!")
> Hyperthermia
> Indigenous Canadians
> American Natives (thanks to @pennnursinglib for pointing it out... I'm a little excited and missing some good ones)
> Internet Use (OMG FINALLY)
> Interprofessional Education (THANK YOU)
> Jails (along with Correctional Facilities)
> Latent Infection
> Mania (under Neurobehavioral Manifestations, nice to see that decoupled from Bipolar, too much noise with that)
> Military Deployment
> Opiate Overdose
> Physical Distancing (oh hey pandemic term!)
> Practice Patterns, Pharmacists' (that's needed)
