My favorite @eliciadonze pieces, A thread:
1. This @LucyLiu as my favorite Watson. i'm sincerely obesessed with how Donze uses light in her paintings. she has this amazing ablility to highlight character through it, and this one of my faves because of it

2. this #MahershalaAli. i bought a print of it for my BFF a few years ago, and it's emblematic of another reason why i adore @eliciadonze ; she's one of very few white artists that knows how to draw black skin. when she works with our skin tones, it's like we have an inner glow
3. THIS FUCKIN DRAWING OF @gucci1017 !!!!! BRUH!!!! LOOK AT HOW @eliciadonze DREW HIS TATTOOS!!! HIS FACIAL HAIR!!! HOW BUTTERY SMOOTH HIS SKIN LOOKS!!! THE LIGHT ON HIS NOSE!!!!! THE DIAMOND FACETS IN THE BACKGROUND!!! GORGEOUS.
4. this #GiancarloEsposito as Gus. i love it because @eliciadonze has such a way with color that i was startled when she dropped this one on us. but her pen game is so strong, i don't know why i was even shocked when she gave us this killer black and white. she has THEE RANGE.
5. this @LilNasX piece. THE COLORS. super eighties, super soft, so lovely. @eliciadonze loves themself some eighties tones, and they do them so well. look at the fabric wrinkling on the sleeve!!!! it reminds me of fabric mimicry in statues

I! LOVE! THIS! @FKAtwigs PIECE! I'm obsessed. it's such a vibe; the background shade, the light highlight on the left side of her face, the HAIR TEXTURE, the wrinkles on her lips, the folds in her hand!! i want this as a print for my living room. @eliciadonze we'll talk

7? 6? idk.
this @chadwickboseman as T'Challa. it's moody, regal, thoughtful. i look at it and i hear that piano opening to "Black Panther" from the @kendricklamar soundtrack
i've mentioned it before, but just really love how @eliciadonze uses light in her art. it's so beautiful

8. this @jackieaina !!!! i'll let the subject speak for herself, but one major thing for me. look at how the light from her jacket is reflecting on her face!!!! GORGEOUS. STUNNING. ICONIC.
in conclusion (not really i'll probably add other ones later) @eliciadonze is a modern master. i'm right. argue with your mother.
commission her. the talent and work ethic speak for themselves.
