A funny test case here is South African Apartheid. A thing we all now know was bad and almost everyone agrees it was immoral. So let's look at how these two countries/govt (Israel and Cuba) reacted to this objectively evil government.
Cuba: Operation Carlotta (named after a woman who died leading a slave revolt in pre Revolution Cuba), tens of thousands of troops, medical + financial aid sent to Angola to ultimately help defeat the invading SA Apartheid army. Mandela credits them for helping topple apartheid

Fidel's nickname was "The Jew" when he was a kid because he wasn't baptized (lol). I was googling this and saw a bunch of "the anti-semitism of Fidel" articles. They said "yes, Jews in Cuba are given kosher rations and the govt builds synagogues, but Fidel is mean to Israel

I think there are legit criticisms of Fidel and the Cuban system. But it's insane to suggest either are so evil that they can't ever be praised or even discussed without doing this. Does any serious person think Cuba has killed more people than Israel?
