Some thoughts on episode 47 of #Hercai

“If life shows you its thorns one after the other, don’t be sad, rather love it. Because soon it will show the rose too.

PRAISE
My praise as always goes first to Ebru and Akın. Although this episode was once more dramatic, I loved their funny, comic and flirtatious parts. And for me it shows once more how versatile they are together as an on-screen couple.
#Hercai
2
OPENING
M: “You are such a cruel woman who separates small children from their mother.”
These words hit differently if we assume that Gül hanim took away A/N’s son too. But then A. did the same to Dilsha&Sultan what was done to her and I can’t feel compassion with her.
#Hercai
3
WORDS/FACTS TO KEEP IN MIND
Az: “She hated me. Never wanted me, never wanted me to marry your grandfather.”
It’s interesting how Azize seemed to always have been rejected by everyone. First from Gül hanim/Shadoglu family and later also from the Aslanbey family.

4
DETAILS I LOVED
* Have you all spotted the fresh roses in ReyMir’s room?
* I still find it funny that the huge ReyMir horse picture is in their room, and also that R. hasn’t questioned herself who could have taken it. I mean, they were alone and no one was around them +
#Hercai
5
* I loved how Reyyan sensed something was wrong at the cemetery and it was her who took Miran’s hand first.
#Hercai
6
WORDS I LOVED
*Miran: “Sooner or later, justice will prevail.” Amen to that!!!

*Hazar: “No, I am Reyyan’s father, I am!!!”

*Reyyan: “The mirror as a gift means: I can’t give you a gift that is more valuable than you.“

#Hercai
7
*Miran: “Aslan, you probably don’t feel well. Go wash your face and come to your senses.”

*Hazar: “Now I know what you couldn’t say. Now I know what you couldn’t say that night.”
#Hercai
8
QUESTIONS
* Azize seems very, very surprised about Fusun being alive. I wonder if Azize might have given the order to kill her and this order was not executed properly?
* Who found the letter that was sent to the Sha. mansion? Who read the letter?
#Hercai
9
*Mah: “I found Aslan. Az. kept him away, kidnapping him, and telling his family that he was dead.”
I still wonder who Mah. really is and I still go with my two hypotheses: a) he is either an illegitimate child of the old Aslanbey (so Azize was betrayed once more) or +
#Hercai
10
b) he is the son of Fusun. He himself said he comes from a rich, important family. I can’t see otherwise how Mahzuf would have found Fusun. In both ways Mahfuz would be an Aslanbey and thus Reyyan an Aslanbey too. 😱
#Hercai
11
* I found it interesting how Sultan did not try in any way to talk to Gonül the day after the confrontation. She just let her … leave and stay away?
#Hercai
12
GOOSEBUMPS MOMENTS
*Azize: “I saw that fire even without death. I am not afraid of those who are underground, I am afraid of those who are on the ground.”

*Miran: “For the sake of revenge you abandoned me and kept Aslan safe? So that he continues our family?”

#Hercai
13
*Mahfuz: “M. is your son and Azize tries to make you kill your own son.”

*Hazar: “You wanted to give me the body of Miran. You wanted to give me the body of my son.”

#Hercai
14
*Hazar: “Why, why? She stole my son from me. So many years, what have you tried to make me pay for? What did I pay for?
#Hercai
15
OYA
Once more my appreciation for Oya’s acting. I love how much more we see her in S3 and how she portrays broken Gonül. Although Gonül did so many bad things Oya is able to make me feel compassion for Gonül.
#Hercai
16
GONÜL-FIRAT-MIRAN
Although they all grew up in toxic environments and had sad childhoods, I loved how they exchanged glances and everything that has to be said was said only by looking at each other. Firat was proud that Gonül called him+
#Hercai
17
+her “only” brother and Firat as a brother to Miran, asked in return if he should take Gonül back to the hotel. Bravo to the actors on that!
#Hercai
18
REYYAN WANTING TO HELP SULTAN
Once more we see Reyyan’s beautiful heart who wanted to console Sultan who was kneeling on the ground after the confrontation. If we think about the scene in which Sultan locked up Reyyan in her room where she nearly went crazy…+
#Hercai
19
+ it shows the great compassion even Reyyan has even for ppl who hurt her. I liked though that Miran stepped in and held her back.
#Hercai
20
BLOOD DONATION
I always wondered why Hazar wasn’t thinking about Miran’s blood donation… but I forgot that Hazar in fact never knew about it. Sorry, I was wrong about that!🤷‍♀️
#Hercai
21
MIRAN-AZIZE SCENE I
M: “Don’t you regret it at all? Those people you gave up for revenge.“
I found this scene was shot in an incredible way. There was the picture of Mehmet between Miran&Az. while talking. For me we see contemporarily the two lives (Miran& Mehmet)+
#Hercai
22
+ that were most ambushed, manipulated and brainwashed by Azize for all this purpose of revenge. Azize used and brainwashed Mehmet up to the point that he could not longer take it for what he did to Dilsha/Hazar and thus he committed suicide.+
#Hercai
23
+ We see Miran who was brought to take revenge on an innocent girl, only for the sake of this revenge. If it wasn’t for Reyyan and the true love that was born between them, I am quite sure Miran would have ended up the same way as Mehmet by now.
#Hercai
24
MIRAN-AZIZE SCENE II
A: “Are you mad I protected Aslan&not u?”
M: “The only reason u kidnapped Aslan is to protect him from revenge?”
A: “What else could it be?”
M: “I don’t know, but if there is… I'll find out.”
> And you were destined to find out the next day Miran.
#Hercai
25
FORESHADOWING
The way Reyyan is afraid of Aslan is very foreshadowing for me.
R: “I am afraid of Aslan, be careful, not for me, but I am afraid for you.”
R: “I am afraid of Aslan, let’s find another way and keep him away from us.”
#Hercai
26
R: “Miran, he is very dangerous, he will hurt you. He will hurt you. I beg you, I beg you Miran. Send him out of here, please.”
M: “At the same time, I will not allow him to come close to you and harm us.” +
#Hercai
27
I'm so, so, so, so, so sure something will happen to R. and M. will go crazy deli because he did not listen to R’s fear. But who knows we get a scene in which Reyyan ends up at hospital and the doctor comes back and says: “Reyan hanim, you and the baby are just fine.”
#Hercai
28
BREAKFAST SCENE
What can I say, I loved the breakfast scene, I guess we all waited for such a simple, domestic scene between a married couple. And I also love Reyyan’s sentence “Can you pour me some light tea.” +
#Hercai
29
For me it was as if Miran finally understood how R. felt when she said “I even don’t know how you drink your coffee.” There are still so many things they don’t know about each other and I am ready to see how they will discover them bit by bit.+
#Hercai
30
I also loved Reyyan’s words: “But you are not like them. You are correct, you do not build dirty games and do not hurt people.” Another proof, after the halvet ;-), that Reyyan was able to let completely go of the past. She knows Miran’s heart and his intentions.
#Hercai
31
He took revenge because his mind was confused and brainwashed and his heart poisoned. All the games and lies were not what Miran’s true nature is about and he does not hurt ppl intentionally.
#Hercai
32
REYYAN-MIRAN AT THE OLIVE TREES
R: “He will follow me with the car every morning.”
M: “Of course I will.”
I was dead here because it reminded me so much of the jealousy scene when Miran said he would even argue and be jealous of own shadow when it comes to Reyyan.
#Hercai
33
HAZAR AT HOSPITAL VS. MIRAN AT THE COURTYARD
Hazar looks up at the sky and says: “Dilsha, Dilsha… our son.”
#Hercai
34
Miran had the same reaction when he heard in the courtyard that he was apparently the son of Hazar and Dilsha. He’s first reaction was to look up at the sky. What a beautiful father-son parallelism the same day.
#Hercai
35
DRIVING SCENE
M: “My wife can do everything. It is very easy. You will get your license right away. You are very good, everything is fine, come on.”
I loved once more how Miran is uplifting and encouraging Reyyan in doing things she has never done before.+
#Hercai
36
The way M. held out&helped out with the steering wheel at the beginning but then he let gently go because he knew Reyyan could do it without his help. I loved how Reyyan was looking at Miran and he had to remind her to watch the street and I couldn’t help but to think+
#Hercai
37
about his words: “I want the excitement of all your firsts to touch only my eyes.” Another beautiful and funny first for them. The fact that also children appeared at the side of the road made me think of foreshadowing that Reyyan needs to learn how to drive because+
#Hercai
38
+she won’t be able to ride Mavi once she finds out she is pregnant.
Ebru and Akın served us some true comedy, cuteness and sassyness in this scene, I loved it.
#Hercai
39
GONÜL-AZAT&THE SYMBOL OF FIRE
G:“U are a good person, I wanted u to know. Stay away from them.”
I wonder if it’s the time the writers are trying to redeem G’s character for good. Have u all seen that “by coincidence” this scene was shot with a fire in the background?
#Hercai
40
A sign for a future possible love between Gonül and Azat?
#Hercai
41
ASLAN AND AZIZE&THE SYMBOL OF FIRE
Have you all seen that in the conversation between Azize and Aslan at the restaurant there was a fire in the background too?
#Hercai
42
In the conversation Aslan reveals to Azize that: “Fusun is alive”. And with these words the true fire and downfall for Azize has started.
#Hercai
43
MAHZUF’S OFF VOICE
“I didn’t come here to appear in front of Reyyan. But I couldn’t resist hearing what happened to my daughter. I found Aslan. Azize kept him aways, kidnapping him and telling his family that he was dead. Aslan has learned about this truth. +
#Hercai
44
+ I came here to avenge myself. And in order to restore justice for everyone. And I came with him. Aslan does not know who I really am. Hazar Shadoglu, Aslan has departed from his goal, because he developed a dependent weakness for Reyyan. (…) +
#Hercai
45
Go and get your children out. This danger will not end until Miran finds out that you are his father.”
I am glad that we have proof that Aslan/Mahzuf got into the game only after revenge was already taken. +
#Hercai
46
So all the pictures we saw from Reyyan already before the revenge and at the wedding were just very, very badly chosen...ama they only had 6 months time to choose them...
#Hercai
47
MIRAN’S SMARTNESS
When Aslan got up from the table to go and find a bathroom, he looked up the stairs to ReyMir’s room as if he wanted to go up and Miran immediately caught his thoughts and told the maid to show him the bathroom downstairs. +
#Hercai
48
+ I liked this little detail because it shows how uncomfortable Miran is about the situation of Aslan staying at their house too. Smart Miran, smart!
#Hercai
49
SUICIDE ATTEMPT
I liked how Reyyan ran to Miran but I found it interesting how she looked scared at Azize and not Aslan. In a way she always intuitively knows that the biggest threat still comes from Azize herself.
#Hercai
50
THE FLASHBACK OF THE SHOOTING NIGHT
I loved how the writers made H. remember about the shooting night by seeing Aslan with a gun pointed to his head that triggered his memory. I guess it’s one of the most natural ways they could make H. “remember” what really happened
#Hercai
51
ZEHRA-HAZAR-CIHAN
Z: “Hazar bey, where are you going alone? Azize is very dangerous, especially if she finds out now that you remembered who knows what kind of game she will come up with again.”
#Hercai
52
Zehra and Miran being the smart ones this season! Zehra understood that Azize was going to come up with a game and Hazar just trapped into it again.
#Hercai
53
And just with the words of Zehra in his mind, Hazar calls Azize to meet him at the grave and I was shouting at my TV: why, why, why, why are you not using your brain Hazar!
#Hercai
54
HAZAR ALONE AT CEMETERY
I loved Hazar's “in theory plan” to tell Miran about the paternity “in presence of his mother” and Reyyan, the two most important ppl in Miran’s life.
“For the first time I came to you with my head raised, since the day you went underground.+
#Hercai
55
I could not make you live… forgive me. But I remembered. I was reborn today. Miran is our son. Our... I found out. The child I saw in your eyelashes. Sleep well Dilsha, our son is entrusted first to the Almighty and then to me Dilsha.”+
#Hercai
56
I loved these lines and how he promised he would watch out for their child but it killed me at the same time too because the day Hazar was reborn is the same day Miran died in a way. I am not crying at all!
#Hercai
57
HAZAR-AZIZE
H: “Who could do this? Of course Azize!”
But then Hazar blurs out the truth to Azize and doesn't wait for ReyMir to arrive. Neden Hazar, neden?!
#Hercai
58
H: “The day has come you will answer for everything Azize Aslanbey. Mehmet killed himself in front of your eyes. He said: “Mom they loved each other&committed suicide.”
A: “Dilsha is alive. She is locked up. If you tell Miran that u are his father, I will kill her.”+
#Hercai
59
I don’t believe D. is alive because Azize never suspected her as the note sender. Azize got too scared when she received the piece of the tombstone. Azize herself hired a woman to scare Shükran and to make her believe she is alive. But Dilsha is NOT alive.
#Hercai
60
AZAT
A: “I can’t keep watching longer over the family. Dad found out you didn’t go there.”
So, it means that Nashu was investigating all this time after Zehra told him about Miran possibly being a Shadoglu.
#Hercai
61
ASLAN-CIHAN
Aslan is playing Cihan well by saying he thinks that he is the smartest from all the Shadoglus.😬
#Hercai
62
CIHAN
“I have always raised my brother. I won’t let them do this to my son.”
With all this evilness that comes from Cihan towards his brother Hazar, I don’t understand how it’s possible that Hazar might be Ayse/Nashu’s child and not Cihan.
#Hercai
63
SHÜKRAN
I found it funny how Shükran had not a single line if not say “Miran” but her face was speaking volumes throughout all the scenes in this episode.
#Hercai
64
CINEMATOGRAPHY
I need to pick on a few scenes, so here you go.
*I loved how Hazar just found out about being Miran’s dad and the next scene was with zoom on his two happy children: Reyyan on Mavi arriving at the olive trees and followed by happy Miran.
#Hercai
65
*The opening scene between Cihan and Aslan was powerfully shot over black clouds. Because in a way Cihan is to Hazar what Aslan is to Miran. They both feel jealousy for the other man and instead of helping them, they are “black clouds” to them on top of all the drama.
#Hercai
66
*Fusun’s arrival at the Aslaneby mansion: the camera starts moving with Fusun going up the stairs, then zooms over the Aslanbey door and up to the Aslanbey emblem to then mingle with Fusun’s Aslaneby brooch.
#Hercai
67
I loved how Fusun’s upper hand over Azize is also represented visually, because in fact, Fusun is above everyone and everything and Azize is “on the floor”.
#Hercai
68
With Fusun descending the stairs, we slowly perceive that what is about to be revealed is the beginning of Azize’s downfall for real and it was visually supported in a superb way by Ali! So bravo Maestro!!!!!👏👏👏
#Hercai
69
MIRAN: I AM MEHMET ASLANBEY’S SON
I found it powerful&heartbreaking how Miran defends his family’s name and also Azize, even after everything she has done to him. The way he asked F. to give him back the brooch she took from Az. and how he slightly stepped in between+
#Hercai
70
Azize and Fusun to shield Azize. He still feels affection for Azize and he can’t kill this affection in his heart for her just yet. Because we know that Miran has a good heart and his protectiveness towards her is normal but hurts at the same time.😢
#Hercai
71
What broke my heart though the most was the fact that Aslan (as a real Aslanbey) will start sleeping at the mansion, while Miran will be leaving the mansion heartbroken.
#Hercai
72
NASHU
I can’t say how much I hate Nashu for accepting this kind of cruel way of paternity revelation for Miran. Of course his primary plan was to humiliate Azize in front of everyone but who will really pay for it is Miran.
#Hercai
73
Because he is the one who is humiliated the most in all this. Getting to know such a thing in front of ppl who are not even your family is awful and cruel! And when I think about the way Hazar wanted to tell him makes me cry all over again.
#Hercai
74
AZIZE REACTION
I am dying to see Azize’s reaction in the next episode but I am quite sure she will go with: “How do you dare to say something like this about my dead son and my daughter-in-law.” Because I cannot believe she will just give up and admit it.
#Hercai
75
OVERALL COMMENT
I'm glad we understood that F. is in a way behind everything. Remember how many times I talked about the picture of Shü.&Az. shortly after D’s death? Thus it’s confirmed someone watched them for a long, long time&someone who knows Az. since a long time.
#Hercai
76
THE OPENING QUOTE
And lastly let’s talk about the quote:
“If life shows you its thorns one after the other, don’t be sad, rather love it. Because soon it will show the rose too.”
I love how the quote can be applied to: Reyyan, Miran and Hazar in this episode.
#Hercai
77
Because we know R. is most probably pregnant, so after all this hardship she endured, she will finally have a rose blooming within herself. I'm also very positive that this was her Urfa wish. R. said she will tell M. when her wish becomes reality...so get ready kizlar.
#Hercai
78
M’s paternity revelation was the last and biggest blow for M. of his “unknown”&confused past. All that will follow now will make him shortly unstable but will ultimately free him from his evil past&Az’s grip&thus also for him the rose is a form of a new identity.
#Hercai
79
Hazar finds out the truth after believing for 30 years that he might have been a killer. But he is innocent and that the love of his life and himself had a son, so a rose in the form of his son is definitely shown to him too.
