But in #STEM, we are not trained to facilitate discussions on issues that are difficult, complex and rightfully very emotional. And so discussions are often a disaster. We have assembled our lessons learned from the @ChapmanU #GrandChallenges Initiative.

You’re busy and there’s a pandemic, so this is meant to be accessible and actionable. There are many things we can do to be better at facilitating and better at participating. Here are a few common lines we use in discussion:
