Not a lot of people know about some of the “behind the scenes” work that happens @ElectricCoinCo. For the last two years, there has been a group of mobile developers, security experts, and user experience researchers working on creating tools to enable Shielded ZEC on mobile.

This launch in Unstoppable Wallet today is the first integration into a multicurrency wallet of shielded ZEC and uses first-of-their-kind ECC developed and open source Kotlin and Swift SDKs courtesy of the very talented duo of @anothergmale and @AppsCrafter.

To support the mobile SDKs ECC developer @LarryRuane created an entirely new light node to serve transactions privately and much more efficiently and to support users ECC UX researcher @geffenz investigated how to convey the nuance of Zcash and privacy to users in intuitive ways

We had to modify our cryptography library to be mobile compatible for Android and iOS. Huge thanks to @str4d and @nuttycom. Along the way all of these tools were reviewed and improved by our incredible security team, @DefuseSec and @industrybambam.

The mobile wallet team at ECC was focused on mobile wallet creation but our tools have been the catalyst for numerous other projects who have since returned contributions to the quickly growing Zcash ecosystem such as @zecwallet, @ZbayApp, and @NighthawkWallet.

Congratulations to the team at Unstoppable, this is amazing work. My team had the goal to create an easy integration for shielded ZEC on mobile. We have achieved that goal and we're not going to stop making the experience even better. Today is a good day for privacy.
