I gotta tell you guys about my Christ the King experience.So, we celebrated it on the Traditional Calendar.. for the rest of the week, I kept referring to Jesus as "Your Majesty" and placing Him on this throne in my mind & heart.
When I came back the next Sunday

.. I was beside myself because I just had this thought "they're crucifying my King."
It was very, very moving. I'm tearing up just thinking about it.
My point? Words, language, thoughts, images are all immersive experiences - think of them as VR for the self.

..being a catechized Catholic, I fully knew what was happening at the Altar: I experienced the Crucifixion of my King.
