The student debt thing is just American individualism rearing it’s ugly head again. People talking about “won’t it be unfair” SIRS AND MA’AMS. DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND THAT FREEING MILLIONS FROM THE BONDAGE OF DEBT WILL STIMULATE THE ECONOMY AND IMPROVE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR YOU TOO?!
The entire concept of being mad REQUIRES a complete detachment from the concept that we live in a society. A complete misunderstanding of the reality that is the improved health & well-being of the poorest in society instantly improves everyone on all economic levels above them.
There is an entire generation not investing in the housing market, an entire generation not investing in the auto industry, an entire generation making purchases for short term survival/gratification instead of long term investment. Why the FUCK do you think this won’t impact you
The massive “excitement buy” phase post the dissolution of this debt ALONE will more than make up for this. The transfer of wealth will be immense. It’ll be like a solid 3 months of Black Friday w/o having to lower prices!
