Hubs: I dont agree with paying off student debt.

Me: Most kids graduating now will struggle to pay off their loans for years, like I did. It prevents them from buying homes. They have no savings. They can't save.

Me: I wouldn't wish the way I struggled on anyone. Taking away some of that debt gives people a chance.

Me: You were lucky. You had a good paying job straight out of college. You lived at home. You had a chance. I didnt. College is a trap. Still think they shouldn't get some of that debt erased?

Wait. That doesn't read right. He now believes that we should erase student loan debt. And make public colleges tuition free.
