The Eagles need to make changes. And if they I do may I suggest they look across the street and take a page out of the 76ers playbook.....
1. Stick with your star players. You worked hard to get them, you’ve invested time and capital into them, they may need guidance but they’re the ones that will get you to where you want to be. You must continue to build around them, not discard them.
2. Realize when a beloved head coach’s message has been lost in the locker room. If the players aren’t listening, maybe it’s not the players...if the system doesn’t play to the strength of the talent you have...maybe it’s the system. Find a new HC w/ system that fits the talent.
3. Don’t fire the GM, but allow him to focus on what he’s good at, and bring in experienced, veteran talent evaluators who can help with the draft and feee agency. Spare no expense in the process of evaluating, acquiring, and cultivating talent.
