I work within this company trust me when I say he is right. This push for 2030 is not going to work without very high tax paying costs

1. How are you going to get rid of all the dead petrol and diesel cars.
Can't just dump them. Its a enviromental disaster.
They well have to be striped and recycled with the rest of it incinerated that means huge fossil fuel factorys pumping the same pollution you are trying to get rid off.
2.
How are we going to charge all these cars. Especially in London when we have a mayor who doesn't want cars on the road regardless what energy is running them. It requires parking spaces wich takes up room on the side of the road.
(Not good for cycling lanes is it)

Take petrol stations for Ex.
Most hold around 10 pump stations holding 10 cars for 10 minutes while they fill up.
An electric car at best takes a couple hours to charge.
That means we will have hundreds of cars parked all over the country charging up everyday.
Not productive.
This is not being thought out very well. Its just a piss poor idea being pushed to tick boxes by the likes of wef the eu and the who who don't live in the real world
I'm old enough to remember when these people told us all to buy diesel only to say 5 years later that was a bad idea and by the way your vehicle tax will now have to go up so I'm not interested in what they have to say this time around
