1/ One thing I've missed so much since all this started is standing in a dark, sweaty room, dancing to brilliant live music played by amazing people on stage.

So here's a list of artists and bands that I'm getting onto *the minute* we're allowed to:

2/ Saw @thepeachfuzzuk first at @skeleton_coast festival with @Siletman last year, held in a haunted castle a few minutes from where we grew up. Cannot rave about this band enough.

Fingers crossed for the Feb 20th gig at Liverpool @ArtsClubHQ.

3/ Caught @WeAreOVVLS at the excellent Liverpool Digital Arts Festival @ldmfestival over the 1st lockdown, raising money for the NHS and Lpool live venues. Stunning band, stunning music.

4/ Saw @TheShipbuilders at the 2019 Liverpool @SoundCity. Well, one of them, weirdly, in a tiny cafe in the Baltic Quarter. Can't wait to see the whole band. Loving the Lee Mavers singing style, as well!

5/ Natalie @AndMonarchy, again played the @ldmfestival during the 1st lockdown. Put on a great show online, so can't wait to see what they're like on stage.

6/ One of the headlines at the @ldmfestival was @thisiszuzu. Full of energy and awesomeness. Also a lot of fun on Instagram. Makes a mean cup of tea.

7/ Saw at the @skeleton_coast festival last year. Keeping the #wirral flag flying, @TheMysterines need no introduction. If you need to rock the f*ck out after being locked down so long (and I really do!), this is your band

8/ @calvalouise, rocking out from Venezuela, France & New Zealand, is the mix of indie and girl group harmonies you didn't know you needed! Hope you visit Liverpool asap.

9/ Then there is @Lucy__Gaffney, for a gear change down. Also hopefully playing at the Peach Fuzz gig at @ArtsClubHQ on 20th Feb.

10/ Caught @TheSnuts at the @skeleton_coast as well. For some good time old fashioned indie :-)

11/ Caught at the @ldmfestival again this year, for some 60s Floyd melodies, @TheFernwehBand are pretty special.

12/ And these guys. Seen 3 times last year, on stage at @skeleton_coast and @SoundCity, and online at @ldmfestival, most of the time with @Siletman, and can't wait to dance like a loon to them again. Liverpool's finest, @RedRumClub
