..Those pushing for adoption of IHRA claims it allows criticism of Israel. The truth is that those pressuring public bodies to adopt it want to use it to categorise as hate speech any description of Israel as an apartheid state ,any call for BDS or indeed any type of sanction...
This is absurd and undermines true antiracism. According to this any body including @amnesty @hrw @The_TUC who criticises Israel for racist laws and policies becomes an anti semite. @UKLabour and all public bodies must make clear they will not accept racism against one people....
..to be redefined so as to prohibit calling out racism against another people. My family were driven from their home in 1948 because they were Palestinian. This was an act of ethnic cleansing .It does not make me an antisemite to say so.
