I mean what if I told you that literally our entire social order and economic system, including everything about it that sucks, pretty much comes out of what amounts to the world's first mass privatization scam and that scam literally birthed capitalism through its precursors?
When you hear microloan dipshits say things like "well it doesn't matter if the micro loan helps African women farmers or not, what's important is the become stakeholders through acquiring debt" - you're basically listening to the bullshit that ultimately CREATES capitalism
Updated, hundreds of years into the future, but ultimately the same arguments - that creating rentiers and debt peons is the foundation of "society" whose ultimate purpose is "capitalism" and requires the utter destruction of the "commons"

Same argument recycled over and over
And of course, it's justified as "the only way" to run an advanced society but buddy, it was already a society when you stole the commons, it was already a series of societies when you tore apart culture after culture based on communal land ownership to loot the insides.
Capitalism itself is based on a sense of eternity, permanence and self-obvious "truths" - except it's not eternal, it's not permanent and the truths are not obvious.
It only works if you pretend there is no history before capitalism and that's a massive fucking lie, it's like 400 yrs old - furthermore, colonialism is in and of itself, a project that erases that history and forces millions of people into this fundamental rentier/debtor dynamic
The larger point being - none of this is natural; at every stage it was conducted at gunpoint and they just lied.

This was created. On purpose. It's not the only way to live and it's created in such a way as to CREATE owners and the owned out of societies NOT based on that b4.
And yes, that includes us, "white people" - but to understand why, you need to understand the process of "enclosure" and it's really not taught in our history well, if at all.
