1/ A moment of clarity. Founders, please don't confuse hype for success. It's great to get the shoutouts on social medial, be on all the podcast, and get on everyone's top 100 list but that doesn't mean anything. It's the work and the growth/success of your business that matters.
2/ I write this as a reminder to you all. Same for fund managers. Same for MYSELF. All the love, support, and hype is cool, but you still need to do all the day in and day out work. If you don't execute it meant nothing.
3/ The number of founders and fund managers who were on someone's top 100 list that didn't last 2 years or never actually fully raised a fund or got to fund 2 is long. Don't let the hype be your downfall. I know I'm not so don't you. enjoy the accolades but execution is how u win
