People with social skills will bag all the opportunities

How to maximise learning?

The list is in no particular order
Read from wherever you want

Experiential learning is the best way to learn it
Get on calls, Meet people, Do group discussions

Make mistakes, Find solutions & Repeat

1. The end goal of meeting someone should be this:

GIVE THEM AN EXPERIENCE.

2. Pay Attention

Eye contact is everything

3. Remember names.

4. Introduction

Your first impression can take you places

Small & Precise

5. Reading people

Learn:

- Body language
- Voice tone
- Are they getting distracted a lot
- Try putting yourself in their shoes

6. Figure out how can you help them

This will open opportunities you didn't know existed before

7. Don’t check your phone

Like it's a big no-no

8. Develop Empathy

The ability to understand & share the feeling of others

Always have their interest in your mind

9. Always have filter topics:

- Weather,

- Sports,

- Work/hobbies,
- Pets &/or Children,

- “What do you think about..." questions :)

11. Listen to hear, not reply

Tip: Listen twice as much as you talk

12. Never say these things:

- Sorry, I’m nervous
- You are wrong, I can prove it.
- Anything negative
- Bring a past bad memory

13. Always have a bunch of questions ready

- "Tell me about a time when . . ."
- Books you’ve gifted the most?
- What are you most excited about lately?
- "Tell me the story of . . ."
- What topic would give a TED Talk on?
