Interesting that in the latest Ministry Of Defence report they announced that in February of this year Britain deployed Giraffe radars to the Saudi capital Riyadh to help track objects in Saudi airspace

As part of the NATO Readiness Initiative which units are to be ready at 30 day notice should they be required the UK contributes a full carrier strike group, HMS Queen Elizabeth, 1 nuclear powered submarine, 2 Type 45's & 2 Type 23's.
They also contribute an Armoured Infantry Brigade with over 5k troops, a Squadron of F-35B's & a Squadron of Typhoons.
