To all the celebs who become pollution and environment experts overnight right before Diwali, we Hindus have a message for you

The cigarettes you smoke emit ten times more air pollution than diesel car exhaust.

Tobacco smoke produces fine particulate matter, which is the most dangerous element of air pollution for health

This year, almost 11 millions tonnes of stubble were burned by farmers in Haryana and Punjab, which contribute significantly to the ever increasing pollution in the national capital.

A BBC report shows that pollution caused on Diwali only remains for 3-4 days and then falls back to pre-diwali levels

Where does your environment activism vanish when millions of trees are chopped down during Christmas? Forget global statistics, Americans alone chopped down million trees for Christmas in 2017 as per a WSJ report

Next comes the most laughable argument, "don't burst crackers, think about animals". Okay, what about the truckloads of meat you have shoved down your throats in your lifetime? And why do you shy away from preaching against goat slaughter during Eid?

On behalf of all Hindus, we have a message for all your pseudo-activists and hypocrites: "kripya yahan gyan na pele, yahan sabhi gyani hai".
