Thread: Outsiders are not good enough in Bollywood. Especially the women. The system will make you feel insecure about yourself JUST so the nepo beti can be elevated. The best example of this is Anushka Sharma.

Anushka Sharma - When she first tasted success, she said on Karan’s show that he told Aditya Chopra that she was ugly af and not to cast her! Anushka was laughing at this, but as an a-list actress, is this statement responsible? What kind of msg does it send ?
Anushka was an outsider with a girl next door vibe. Instead of fighting back or condemning such statements, she found it funny and laughed at it...not realizing the impact it can have on people who look average .... that’s where she faltered, she made her USP, her weakness.
As a girl, if someone insults you and demeans you .... Will you just laugh about it, instead of speaking up? She played along so she could get more work. What amazes me is that pre-surgery Anushka was a lot better looking than nepo betiyan, yet no one dares to call them ugly?
She took this further by going on record to admit that she had gotten lip fillers. However - that’s what she “admitted” to. She was also bleaching her skin/losing weight at an alarming speed, this is cuz she wanted to look like Katrina. Again, what kind of msg does this send?
Anushka is that typical girl next door who gets convinced that she’s not good enough. What she didnt realize was that as a public figure she has some social responsibility as well. Look at the below picture, before and after. All the freshness gone! Disaster! Movie mafia scores.
Did you connect the dots ? The seed of “you’re not good enough” was planted by Karan Johar. It continued to grow / be enforced by other people until she cracked and made changes to herself. The change ruined the best thing about her; the girl next door, is now just plastic.
Her career went downhill after she got plastic surgery. The audience lost respect but yet she was suddenly being casted by Karan ,Zoya and Hirani... this was intentional folks. She now got the big movies - but the plasticity downplayed all of it. So why did this happen ?
Anushka was a big threat for nepo betiyan in 2010. Same with Parineeti Chopra who was also told she wasn’t good enough, so she took a year off to lose weight and came back to realize she had no more work cuz by then Alia took over and was cemented. Again, not a coincidence
Pay very close to the systemic way outsiders are blocked, broken down and forced to adhere to the movie mafia narrative. These things are not coincidences, everything is planned. Otherwise on what logical planet does an Alia become a star when you have Parineeti or Anushka?
Parineeti isn’t a total outsider, as she worked in YRF and is Priyanka’s cousin. However she’s not a nepo beti and was a serious threat. Even Mahesh Bhatt told Alia to watch out for her, funny cuz since his statement Parineeti completely lost her position and became jobless...
Yet another girl who was told she wasn’t good enough..... another girl who lost her charm. She fell for the trap. She did what they said, but didn’t realize she went against the audience, who liked her for who she was, as she was.
Another example. The outsider who isn’t good enough. She changes herself... audiences notice. Shilpa still got work, but never progressed....
Ayesha Takia was supposed to be the next big thing. I’m sure you can see below why that didn’t happen.
Sridevi’s talent was strong enough to sustain her, they couldn’t stop her from becoming the icon she did. But they did make her feel inadequate. They made her feel like she was not good enough. Sadly this trickled down to her daughters as well....
Plastic surgery is a personal choice. I want to be clear that I’m not against surgery. Do what makes you happy. But making someone feel small... making someone feel like their not good enough. Purposely derailing careers - that’s wrong. But this is all apart of the glamour.
When Rekha got plastic surgery she was celebrated (her parents were also actors) Shruti Hassan’s surgeries are also appreciated as well. Even though Janhvi has been trolled for her surgeries - she’s still getting work and isn’t going to be jobless.
So why is this not the case with the outsider girl who gets plastic surgery? When the outsider girl gets surgery, she begins a downward spiral journey.
This clears the way for a nepo beti to rise, because the plan is to - block, destroy, and derail. This is Bollywood for you.

They find ways to knock the competition out of the way. When they can’t do it directly, they’ll do it indirectly. Anushka/Parineeti’s fall... benefited Deepika/Alia who belong to the same group. You can only imagine the extreme they went to in Sushant’s case....
