President Trump is no scientist, but nobody can eliminate process inefficiencies in federal bureaucracies better than President Trump, and that is exactly what he did to make it possible for a successful Covid vaccine to be developed in less than 9 months.

To put this in perspective, the current world record for the fastest development of a vaccine is held by mumps vaccine which was approved in 1967. How long did it take for the development of that vaccine? Four years!

You know how President Trump enabled Covid Vaccine(s) to be developed in less than 9 months -- something unheard of and completely beyond the comprehension of experts? By overriding expert opinion with an executive decision, for which media excoriates him incessantly.

What the media ignoramuses don't understand is this. We need both -- experts who provide thoughtful and well considered advice to the President, and a President who sometimes overrides them and is not always servile to expert opinion like a feckless and diffident nincompoop.

But worry not. If Biden becomes president, things will quickly go back to normal, because Biden promises to always defer to experts. So should the need for another vaccine arise during a Biden presidency, we will take the usual and customary 4-6 years to develop it.
