I became of voting age before Chavez came to power. It was my first time voting. I voted against Socialism.
Chavez won using manual vote by a landslide.
It was payback for 4 decades of mismanaged democracy and corruption.

This was the birth of #Smartmatic.
They became the sole provider for elections in Venezuela for the next 2 decades.
Since implemented, chavismo hasn't lost their first election.

I remember personally voting on #Smartmatic machines.
The first time the machines were used, there was an ellaborate statystical analysis by a person called Rendón who showed masking of injected voters, the capping & suppression of votes for the opposition.

Very few opposition politicians decided to raise their voice against Chávez.
The only one who denounced the fraud was @MariaCorinaYA.
All others decided to be a group of spineless swamp monsters and collaborated with the electoral deception.
