i am doing two extremely annoying homework assignments. they are easy but annoying. pls give me something to do when i am done with them: for every like this tweet gets i will share a fun fact about one of the four cats in our house

anyway here we go,,,,CAT FACTS
1. kiwi likes being brushed so much that whenever you brush him you have to hold a hand in front of his face for him to lick at the same time

2. calcifer is not a huge fan of physical affection most of the time, but every so often he refuses to eat unless you stand there and pet him while he does
3. zucchini has multicolored beans on every foot
4. beemo absolutely loves playing fetch. he started doing it with crinkle balls but he will also do it with other toys now
5. kiwi’s birthday is valentine’s day!!! he is my special valentine boy
6. calcifer is the only one of our cats who isn’t from the state of ohio
7. zucchini sometimes will just stare at a blank spot on the wall and then launch herself at it one time before walking away
8. we have to be careful not to let beemo get into boxes or other open containers because he thinks they are all litterboxes
9. kiwi makes the widest range of sounds of our four babies. he has a lot to say and many intonations to say it with.
10. all of our cats are rescues, but calcifer was saved directly from the streets whereas the other three came from shelters. cal may or may not have been born in a dumpster.
11. zu is perfectly capable of jumping at least 5 feet in the air without a running head start, but sometimes she barely puts in enough effort to get onto the table or the counter and ends up eating shit
12. the day we brought beemo home he did nothing but scream and try to hide from us. now he wants nothing more than to be as close to people as possible. he is the snuggliest bug
13. many of you already know this, but for those that don’t: kiwi doesn’t have a bepis!!!!! he had it surgically removed because he was having life threatening piss problems. he is a happy healthy boy now. and smooth like a ken doll.
14. calcifer goes so bonkers for bread that we have to hide bread products from him. one time he ate a whole box of timbits.
15. zucchini once squatted her little butt over the shower drain, looked me right in the eye, and pissed
16. things beemo has peed in: a VERY large box only containing packing peanuts, a dresser drawer, a bike helmet, a plastic cauldron
17. kiwi does NOT like to be held like a baby. you have to hold him in a very specific way for him to accept it. i got him used to being held slowly when i first adopted him by gently bouncing up and down and humming while i held him.
18. calcifer knows all of the following words: fish, dinner, calcifer, sit, up
19. zucchini snores every time she sleeps
20. beemo routinely rolls off of things while he’s sleeping
21. kiwi goes bazonkers for pizza. he will steal it from you if he gets the chance. he likes to sit IN the pizza box while im eating and attempt to drag slices away with a single claw.
22. you can hold and point calcifer at bugs with your hands like a weapon and he will eat them
23. zucchini WILL bite your nipple if she sees it. don’t ask me how i know :(
24. if any one of our cats can most be blamed for us potentially not getting our security deposit back, it’s beemo
25. when i first got kiwi i was rewatching haikyuu and he would curl up next to me every single time i put it on and stare at the computer like he was watching it too

27. zucchini has fallen asleep in my lap while i was peeing before
28. my roommate, beemo’s mom, is actively working on getting beemo to stop waking her up in the middle of the night by licking her mouth and nose
29. kiwi gets me out of bed every single morning by pawing gently at my arms and licking all over my face and biting my eyebrows (the eyebrows thing is a recent development)
30. calcifer is plush like a stuffed animal......he’s very soft
31. zucchini is so noodly that i can feel her microchip in her shoulder! it’s kinda neat imho
32. beemo has a little white whisker (we call it his whimsker) growing out of the side of his nose
33. kiwi drools. a LOT. like. so much.
34. cal tends to play pretty fast and loose with his claws and his teeth but if you hand feed him something he takes it soooooo gently
35. zucchini is the reason our entire pantry had to be put into plastic bins. she kept chewing through the food packages to eat things she shouldn’t, and one time we ended up with ants in our cookies bc of it 
36. there was a very brief period of time where beemo weighed more than his sister, but he is currently our smallest baby and will likely stay that way
37. kiwi is a very gentle boy. whenever he plays with my hands he puts his claws away and bites EXTREMELY lightly, and always switches to licking halfway through
38. cal goes apeshit if you touch his butt. he is very sensitive about it. he would like everyone to leave his butt alone all the time.
39. zucchini’s favorite place to curl up with people is on or around their legs. if you make a little O with your legs she goes wild for it.
40. beemo likes to hoard toys under the couch like a little dragon
for the last two (I WILL NOT BE DOING ANY MORE NO MATTER HOW MANY FAVES THE TWEET GETS AFTER THIS!!!!) im gonna break the little order of cats i was working with til now
41. all of our cats are extremely food motivated. we sometimes have to put them all away while we cook and eat.
AND FINALLY, 42. all of our cats are EXTREMELY loved. kiwi is the light of my life. calcifer is the apple of my roommate’s eye. zu and bee have helped all of us get through this quarantine with our sanity. we love these kitties sooooo much. and we’re happy other people do too :)
