saw a new-ish army feeling stressed about the BE release & how so much focus was on promo & numbers instead of the music (at least on their tl) :/

army has grown astronomically in the past few yrs especially, attracted to BTS for all kinds of valid reasons. mobilizing to maximize the impact of the music has always been a focus for many of us, and usually for good reasons. necessary reasons.

do some ppl here prioritize awards, charting, records, label moves, & promo to such a high level that it fosters increased negativity & overshadows the music itself, & the overarching messages BTS are trying to send? unfortunately, yeah.

and it’s their right. if those are your ppl, ok. but there are also many army who try to take a more balanced approach & follow BTS’ lead, who are here for the music first but also working to help the music grow & reach more ppl. they’re not always the loudest, but they’re here.

find your people
