I'm not a religious person; I got most of my knowledge about the bible from watching the 1956 film "The Ten Commandments."

One of the stories stands out in my mind.

God was pissed, so he sent a plague to descend upon Egypt.

But, you could prevent it from killing your family by

simply painting your front door with some lamb's blood. (I think it had to be *local* lamb's blood, but not sure.)

The plague would see the lamb's blood, it would "pass over" your household, and it would go kill the bad guys instead. Neat trick!

Now here we are in 2020 and

there is an actual plague descending upon the entire world. But, since this is the 21st century, we don't do the whole lamb's blood thing anymore.

To stop the plague, all we have to do is wear face masks when we're around people. Super easy, right?

I look at all the people in

the U.S.A. who wear masks, and I think, they're smart. They're not going to lose any of their loved ones to the #coronavirus, because they got the message about the lamb's blood trick. You wear a mask, and the plague passes over you. Simple!

Then I look at all the Republican

conservative morons who *refuse* to wear a mask, who refuse to paint the lamb's blood on their doors. As a result of this selfish obstinance, their grandparents and siblings and children die from #Covid19.

The stupidity is astounding.
Didn't you guys read the fucking bible?!?

The coronavirus #pandemic has indeed killed many good guys, and that is tragic.

But now, because the good guys like you and me are smart, we're protecting ourselves from death by wearing masks.

The bad guys aren't, and they're doomed.

"So let it be written, so let it be done."
