Do you guys think that extroverts are just like in bars and parties every single night? For me, it mostly means that I reach out to friends to talk about things when I need help or want to share ideas, and that I like helping and listening. I hate bars. Don’t love big parties.
People talk a lot about how introversion is linked to anxiety, but never about how extroversion is, too. My anxiety didn’t take the form of withdrawing, it took the form of talking things out with people, making friends, distracting myself with socializing. We’re anxious, too!
“A real introvert wouldn’t say that because it’s only extroverts who want attention” Literally everybody on earth wants some kind of attention or another, it’s how we get our needs met
And if you’re an introverted person with extroverted roommates or family, trust me, they’re probably way more afraid of you than you are of them
IDK if introversion/extroversion even exists the way people think it does or if Carl Jung was just screwing around with another one of his fun-but-reductive ideas he screwed around with when he wasn’t screwing his clients
Anyway, stop chalking your misanthropy up to introversion
And please stop thinking of extroverts as naturally loud and obnoxious.

I mean I’m one and I AM loud and obnoxious but not ALL are
