Stacey Abrams is a Neoliberal beholden to the DNC and big money bases like Michael Bloomberg. That's why sources of influence like the cable news media love her. She diversifies the party without threatening its power so phony narratives about her work proliferate.

Abrams sits on the board of Priorities USA, the largest Democratic think tank in the country. She also sits on the board of CAP, the Neoliberal think tank funded by corporate money & hostile to a progressive agenda.

This is the "fighter" of the Democratic Party. This is the avatar the DNC chose for black America. From MLK, Shirley and Fred Hampton to someone who chooses their own wealth above political values.

To elevate Abrams is to desire a strong Democratic Party above the advancement of the working class & poor. You can't "do both" because the leadership of the Democratic party is actively hostile to that advancement.
