What really scares me about covid is how it attacks the kidneys. Most people with kidney disease are poor and have to go to work. How many people are going to go through the long term misery of dialysis because of this?

I’m staying home because my kidneys are mildly impaired... most people with kidney issues can’t. Kidney disease is largely a disease of poverty.

Paying people with kidney disease to stay home would probably save everyone money in the long term.. dialysis isn’t cheap! Besides also being the right thing.
