5 Tips for Starting Your Own Amazon FBA Private Label Brand

#3 is an absolute must!

Keep reading to find out more...

1. Picking your product

Don’t try to reinvent the wheel!

You don’t need to invent the next iPhone...

Amazon already has a whole database of products in untapped niches that are selling well.

Pick a product you know you can add value to and run with it! 🏃🏽‍♂️

Let’s continue...
2. Product Research - Keyword vs Product

What came first the product or the keyword?

My favourite way of finding products is by looking for keywords people are already searching for.

Find a keyword people are searching for with few options available...

That’s a gold mine 💰
3. Product Improvability

When looking for a product to sell you want to make sure the products already on the market can be improved upon.

If majority of the products are already 5 ⭐️’s it’s gonna be really hard to add value.

Find a product that can be improved upon and then utilize the customer review section in order to see what customers like and don’t like about the product.

The review section is literally a gold mine for sellers. Find the common complaints and communicate them to your suppliers.
4. Outsourcing

My motto is “What you don’t know, hire someone who does”

Don’t know how to design product packaging? Hire someone who can.

Don’t know how to photograph pictures for Amazon? Hire someone who can.

Fiverr is a great place for this

Stop making excuses and start!
5. Use Google Trends!!!!

One very big mistake many beginners make is investing in a product without checking its seasonality.

A product may be selling very well at the time you’re doing your research but that doesn’t mean it’s gonna sell well long-term.

Cont. 👇🏽
Google trends allows you to check when a keyword is being searched and graphs it out for you showing the patterns.

I recommend finding a product with some history in the market that sells decently all-year round

Do your due diligence and don’t underestimate the market!
