Listen, some tweets can be simple. No fuss needed. It’s the finale, and it’s on at 11, the end.
And we're saying that as people who have done some pretty wordy tweets in the past. We wanted to do something different this time. Straightforward. To the point.
Our line of thought was: We make so many jokes. Why not do a tweet for our viewers who appreciate the facts, y’know?
So we just said, ‘yeah, 6 words, that’s enough.’
But then, to be considerate, we wanted to let everyone know when the tweet was officially over. Since we were switching things up so suddenly. Hence “End tweet.”
So that was pretty much it! Except, of course, for pressing ‘send.’
We do press ‘send’ on every single tweet you see on our feed. It’s just part of the process.
And then there’s also watching the likes and comments roll in. We’re doing that now.
You may think we don’t read the comments, but sometimes we do! They can be really helpful. Others, hurtful. We’re pretty sensitive at the end of the day. But it just means we care! You don't have to be tough all the time, vulnerability can be positive.
And you know what? The truth is, we're dragging this thread out because we're going to miss you over our hiatus, and we don't really want to say goodbye. So instead we'll just say: see you tonight!
