My point is, controlling this virus goes beyond personal responsibility.
Yes there are people who are pretending that COVID doesn't exist. I know it's easy to get angry with them.
But at the end of the day this is problem is way bigger than one person deciding to go to a bar

Every time you tweet about how you haven't been outside since March, or roll your eyes at someone on IG having drinks at a bar, call your local elected officials & talk to them about rent forgiveness. Call your senator and tell them to cut the checks

The people going out to clubs, bars, restaurants, and gyms wouldn't go if they were closed (or perhaps open for takeout only). And they would be closed if elected officials made them stay closed and paid the workers to stay home, and maybe gave assistance to the owners.
Like I don't see how you look at how every other country has handled this better than we have, and draw the conclusion that it's simply because we like going out to bars more.
