#MHA291 New chapter is here before we go on another break.
This kid totally burned ants using a magnifying glass btw, just look at him

But there’s another big mystery we’ve been handed: if Toya is alive, then how was his death faked? Somebody had to have interfered there. I wanna say All for One as another of his long term plans but honestly, I have NO CLUE.
It appears Endeavor wasn’t too terrible to his family, once upon a time. He seemed to have a good relationship with Toya even, whose hair only started growing white naturally.
So what changed? Was it Shoto being born? Or did he slowly grow more forceful over time?

Either way, it doesn’t justify what he did and that’s the main thing people have to remember here. This shows Endeavor is human, but no matter the time, place or circumstance, abuse is evil. And I think it’s something he’s always been running away from ever since Toya “died.”
Shigaraki’s likely just gonna bark out an order in the next few chapters. He’s finished. Although I’m a little suspicious of what Compress says here. Does he KNOW that Shigaraki is Nana’s grandson? Or is it something else?
Dabi dragging Shoto through the mud he’s created is going to cause major problems for him. He’ll always have the stigma of being the brother of a murderer and the son of an abuser.
Feels like Dabi’s a pot calling the kettle black here though lmao

And it’s not just Endeavor getting a big expose here! Hawks is subjected to the same treatment. Twice’s death makes this a SNUFF FILM and everybody’s getting to see it free of charge. And on top of that, Dabi claims he killed Jeanist which we’ll get to in a bit.
Jesus.
Jesus.
Where does that leave us? With the question that’s always hung in the background but now has made its way to the forefront: are the “heroes” actually heroes because they want to save people, or because they’re enabled to live comfortably by the system that supports them?
That’s right, it’s time to talk about classism! Oh boy!
And this spreeeead... ah. This is a LITTLE too much for me. You can still read it fine, it’s just an eyesore. But at the very least, it communicates a sense of disorientation in the wake of Dabi’s reveal.

I would NOT want to be called this nickname lmfao.
This kid being a secondary focus this chapter helps hammer home this is the end of Endeavor’s hero career. He became emblematic of the man’s rise, so of course he’s there to see his downfall.

You know how drastic things have gotten? Rather than call him Endeavor like every single time before, Shoto actually calls Endeavor “father” in the heat of the moment. Regardless of any moral complications, Toya is now a villain and they’re heroes. They HAVE to fight.
But it wouldn’t be a proper war arc if we didn’t get the one final member of the top ten involved in the fighting! Best Jeanist is officially back. Never once suspected he was actually dead. It was pretty obvious he was gonna come back.
This will also cast suspicion on Dabi’s testimony, but I think it’ll only cause more confusion in the long run. People won’t know what to think, seeing the guy back after Dabi said Hawks killed him. It’s going to end up being an even bigger mess, likely.
But more importantly, now that he’s here and we’ve seen Bakugo’s still conscious as well, I think we’re going to learn his hero name very soon. Maybe he does end up firing one last Howlitzer as he announces his hero name before passing out.
Another amazing chapter! It helps tie several plot lines together and we are definitely right at the climax of the arc. And with that, we go on break until the 29th. Big sad.
