One of the turning points for me was in college when I faced my first aggressive leftwing intimidation mob.

I considered myself liberal.

All of my friends were liberals.
I was mostly apolitical.

But a Muslim student responding to a recent Israel defense action changed that.
It was 2009, and a few of my Muslim friends invited me to an event called 'Israel and Palestine. Is Peace Possible?'

I was the only Jewish student they knew and they wanted me to advocate for their anti-Israel argument.

I talked with members of my synagogue who were horrified.
It became a hugely controversial thing. With Jewish leaders, who were never invited to the event arguing that the core part of the event, watching a documentary titled, 'Occupation 101' would encourage antisemitic hatred.

They were right.
I found myself the student representative for the local Jewish community standing up to the leftwing professors and students promoting the event and the film.

I became aware of both arguments and inundated with history, lies and controversy in just a few days.
But the most overwhelming part was the response from my liberal friends who quickly turned on me and began accusing me of being a fascist, Islamophobic, baby-killing Nazi for representing the Israel side.

Despite the anxiety from both sides, I assumed we'd have a *debate*
Instead I witnessed hysteria and incredible vitriol from the left.

The night of the event I and a small group of older Jewish leaders came prepared with facts, questions and a willingness to discuss the issue and we faced a mob of shouting, shoving, angry protesters.
I remember how it felt trying to walk through the crowd shouting a thousand different variations of 'I hate you. You are evil. You are not welcome here!'

The event itself was one-sided, led by leftwing professors who swooned over the just glory of suicide bombers.
That event changed me.
I went from being uninterested in politics to becoming a vocal Israel supporter and advocate challenging lies and attacks online.

I went to an AIPAC event the following year and faced the same aggressive, hate-filled shouting crowds surrounding walkways.
That led me to Twitter a few years later as I found my voice battling anti-Israel advocates on this platform.

It was leftwing brutality and intimidation tactics that radicalized me into being active and vocal. It solidified my understanding of politics.

It changed me.
The left believes itself the ultimate authority and responds to any challenges with violence, vitriol and hatred.

They don't realize the impact they make against their own goals.

These continued displays of violence, intimidation and aggression will create more conservatives.
