also my two cents on this issue but people really need to stop being like Aha another mhy mistranslation...they need to hire better translators

theres so much content in genshin youre bound to find at least one error o_o translating is very hard. you shouldnt do direct+
translations because that is just so totally void of any emotion or tone the original line provides and you cant stray too far because you can miss out on what the line is actually trying to say. you have to find something between those two and its difficult

you can argue+
"well theyre a professional game company they should translate everything perfectly"

the game is still in its beta version. theyre still working on regions as we speak. theres literally a line at the bottom of the screen in the game that says the content being shown may not+
be the final product. of course theyre going to fix things before it gets released completely thats just what translators do but you have to understand that translating is a huge process that STILL requires you to fix things even after you think you have the best product
its a hard job. people severely underestimate how tiring translating is physically and mentally especially for a game with hours of content not only main story wise but with quest stories, easter eggs, lore, etc. youre looking at months and possibly even years of work
you can rt this if you want but what im trying to say is please be easy on companies, mhy in this case, when it comes to translations LOL i translated over 100k words for one game for fun and im still dealing with the exhaustion that gave me
