vaguely look like human beings (unless they choose to draw the actual cc). despite the fact that the main reference isn't exactly the most realistic of references, fanartists still manage to make incredible works of art. case in point, artist interpretations of dream. (2/4)
all we get is a green man w a smiley face slapped on his torso and some vague description of what he actually looks like irl, and the result that artists come up with is fascinating. so, instead of ppl being all like "oh its just for mcyts lol" i hope they look further (3/4)
and realize just how fucking creative and incredible this community is. mc is a largely creative experience - it wouldn't make sense if the artist community didn't reflect that. (4/4)
