Several things coming up:

2. Facing fascists is hard. Fascists are generally cowards, but when they feel safe they are dangerous. If they get you alone they will try to injure you badly. Stay with a group, the larger the better.
3. The Proud Boys are fascists. This is not an overstatement. Their self professed "western chauvinism" directly translates into fascist ideology. Don't allow them to engage in this kind of misdirection. Say it loudly and often.

4. Proud Boys have started stabbing people. This has long been a battle tactic of choice for fascists internationally. (Y'know, probably because there's some crossover there) Knife attacks are rarely flashy and are easy to miss in a crowd.
If you can procure a stab vest, it could save your life, but barring that, remember to block with your arms. You can also get kevlar neck and arm covers that will resist many knife attacks. They are affordable and certainly cheaper than medical bills and funerals.
5. It's very important to take care of your mental health after these events. Take care of yourself, but also check in with each other. Many wounds aren't visible. Don't be afraid to ask for help. If you talk to people, limit details and avoid writing for info security.
Be careful out there. The last thing anyone wants is dead antifascists. Watch each others' backs, stand together, and stay alive.
