Truth is wp are the problem. Doesn’t matter the exact number. No matter which way you parse the numbers .. we’re the ones holding back progress. From the left & the right. Idk why it’s so hard to admit that fact. But, not admitting it doesn’t help. Being defensive doesn’t either.
And the massive privilege it takes to argue with marginalized/vulnerable communities about whether or not you *believe* you personally are a problem is mind boggling. Get outta your feelings for a gd minute and listen ffs. As a demographic we suck af. Period. Get to work fixin it
If we (as a demographic) aren’t fighting marginalized/vulnerable from the right .. we (as a demo) fight from the left AND appropriate/gentrify movements. Admit it. It’s so obvious. Gd.
My entire life wp (as a demographic) have demonized all *others* and now .. no still .. some wp don’t understand why we’re problematic .. yes, we are the problem.
Wp need to start telling the truth regarding all the ways they’ve been lied to abt marginalized/vulnerable communities. Subtlety and not subtlety made to fear them. Subtlety and not so subtlety made to feel better than. Above. Smarter. Healthier. Wealthier. As if it’s a right.
As if it’s a right of passage in America. Seriously. We didn’t learn factual history in school. You have a chance to learn it now. It’s never too late to learn. It’s never too late to change. Hurry & do that please. It’s up to all of us collectively & personally. You were lied to
And the absolute vast majority of folks I see already saying we need to do this/that to sabotage the Biden/Harris administration are wp. So, explain that then. You can’t. It’s idiotic and harmful to the very ppl you say you supposedly support. Marginalized/vulnerable communities.
And lastly .. if you (as a wp) think you’re sick of this conversation .. think about having to f*cking have it for centuries bc your life literally depends on it. Get a grip!
