Ranking: Beastie Boys discography (THREAD)

Beastie Boys has been one of my favorite Hip-Hop groups and it seems that these guys are underrated on this site. Through this tweet, I would love to rank and recommend my favorite records from them.
Before we continue, hit that RT and Like.

Show some love can we? Alright here we go!
8. The Mix-Up (2007)

One of their laidback records consists only of instrumental funk-rock-fusion jams with sounds that are mellow and rhythmic. Influenced by artists such as Funkadelic for its Jazz and some Prog Rock. Out of the norm and it's decent enough.

7/10
7. To The 5 Boroughs (2004)

On this record, Beastie Boys come off for the Electronic approach and weel maybe it sounds a bit disjointed at some parts, it doesn't stop being heavily head banging showing off the sounds of New York.

7/10
6. Hello Nasty (1998)

According to Ad-Rock, it's their best album and honestly, I can see why. It's one of their most dynamic sounding record ever. With a great playground of new sounds and creative production and genre fusing, Beastie Boys did a magnificent job.

8/10
5. Check Your Head (1998)

One of their records where they return to their roots and with little samples, they fuse Rock and Rap. Twenty tracks and zero fillers as all of them sounds organic and moving towards an Alternative take for Hip-Hop.

9/10
4. Licensed to Ill (1986)

One of the best debut of all time. Crunchy and powerful riffs. Beastie Boys and Run DMC were running the Hip-Hop game. The first Rap album to break the racial division and this record is blasted with fun, youthful, rebellious energy.

10/10
3. Hot Sauce Committee Pt. II (2011)

Their last record and honestly, one of their underrated records. Beastie Boys made a great mix of their old sound and new sound to this record as the final page of their music history and it maintains a consistent colorful sound.

10/10
2. Ill Communication (1994)

Starts off with a blast at the beginning and keeps up the high energy until the end. Ill Communication is one of my favorite albums of all time with gritty punk Fun energy as with features from Biz Markie and ATCQ killing it too.

10/10
1. Paul's Boutique (1989)

Their biggest impact on music. Widest and one of the most creative ranges of sample using which would affect Electronic music. Their humorous lyrics with fun references. Even by today's standards, this album is a high bar for productions.

10/10
